At the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), 6,000 members of the media from 68 countries flock to Cobo Center in downtown Detroit to see the latest products from all around the automotive world. Here are some of the exciting machines they encountered in the Dodge display:
The Dodge Dart GT, shown above, made its formal public debut at Detroit. Representing the ultimate combination of style, performance, luxury and technology, the Dart GT sports a 184-horsepower, 2.4L Tigershark engine, along with 18-inch aluminum wheels, unique front fascia with Hyper Black grille, dual exhaust, and a unique perforated Nappa leather-trimmed interior with heated steering wheel 8.4-inch touch screen and 7-inch TFT.
The Dodge Avenger Blacktop is equipped with 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels with matching center caps, a body-color rear spoiler, dark-tinted headlamp bezels, and black leather-trimmed seats. Other features include an eight-way power seat for the driver, heated front seats, six-speed Auto Stick transmission, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The Dodge Charger Daytona limited edition first appeared at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month. Daytona performance enhancements include a 370-horsepower HEMI V8 with high-speed engine controller, performance suspension and steering, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters with sport mode. The Daytona edition is offered in Bright White, Pitch Black, Billet Silver, and exclusive Daytona Blue, which is the color that can be seen on display now at NAIAS.
America’s biggest new car show will be open to the public from Saturday, January 19, through January 27, 2013. If you are in the Detroit area, be sure to stop by and check out all that Dodge has to offer, including the aggressively styled Challenger Blacktop — winner of the Cars.com 2012 Shopper’s Choice Award.
